Kenya has a large coastline that is home to very beautiful beaches. This is a great tourist attraction place. In the inland, you will find very fertile highlands where all the agricultural communities live. Agriculture is the backbone of the country's economy. Kenya is also home to the world's most spectacular wildlife. These include the big five, over 450 bird species and it is home to the world's seventh wonder. The famous wildebeest's migration takes place on the months of June and September and it is a great source of tourist flow in the country.

There are more than forty ethnic groups in the country. The largest group is the Kikuyu who make almost 30% of the entire country's population. Other large groups include the Kisii, Kamba, Luo, Swahili and the Meru. The Amoro is the smallest group and it is facing extinction as they intermarry with other communities. The groups fall under Bantu, Nilotic and Cushitic speakers. The official language is English while Swahili is the national language. Swahili is used almost in any place that you go to.
